Also known as the Façade Inspection & Safety Program (FISP), this law requires the exterior walls and appurtenances of buildings taller than six stories to be periodically inspected by a Qualified Exterior Wall Inspector (QEWI) and a report filed with the NYC Department of Buildings (DOB).
