An HPD program that allows the City to make emergency repairs when a property owner fails to correct certain hazardous conditions, such as lack of heat or hot water, self closing doors, severe plumbing leaks, or other immediately hazardous violations. The owner is billed for the cost of the repairs, plus applicable fees and interest, which may become a lien against the property if left unpaid.
